博士,教授,博士生导师,公司党委副书记,国家优青,湖北省杰青,国家级一流本科课程《波谱解析》负责人,天然药物化学与资源评价湖北省重点实验室副主任,湖北省药学会中药天然药专业委员会副主任委员。主要从事药用植物和真菌来源活性天然药物的提取分离、结构鉴定及药理活性研究,主持国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金、面上项目,湖北省科技重大项目,湖北省杰出青年基金等,以第一作者或通讯作者身份在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,Chem.Sci.,Chin. Chem. Lett.,Org. Lett.等学术期刊上发表SCI论文110余篇,曾获国家教学成果二等奖、湖北省科技进步特等奖、教育部工程技术一等奖、湖北省自然科学奖一等奖等。
